Messerschmitt Bf 110 (Doc)

It was expected that imported aircraft designs from Germany would be used by the Japanese Air Force during WWII. Reports of Japanese twin-engined fighter-like airplanes led Allied Intelligence to assign the codename "Doc" to such a design.  This codename lasted until 1943 when it was removed from the list. One Bf 110 was imported to Japan for flight evaluations, but it is believed that this aircraft did not see much use and was not seen by the Allies during the war.
