Mitsubishi Ohtori ("Eve / Eva")
Although a civil type based on the Army Ki.2-II Type 93 bomber, it was thought that the Ohtori (Phoenix) was also in Navy service as a Type 96 bomber and was given the Allied codename of "Eva". The name was later simplified to "Eve" to avoid phonetic difficulty. When the type was not met in combat, the name was ultimately dropped from the Allied codename lists.
