Yokosuka H5Y1 Type 99 ("Cherry")

These medium flying boats were built between 1936 and 1941, as a complement to the four-engined H6K Mavis flying boats (which they somewhat resembled). However, these smaller aircraft were underpowered and only saw limited use during the war, resulting in only 20 examples being produced. Allied codename for the H5Y1 was "Cherry".
