1. It gives me great pleasure to see that the Naval Ammunition Depot, 
McAlester, Oklahoma has been selected to receive one of the two annual 
awards presented by the Disabled American Veterans, in spite of much 
competition.

2. The excellent policy this depot has employed in utilizing the skills 
of the older disabled veterans can be attributed to your leadership and 
sincere human interest.

3. I wish to extend my congratulations and express my appreciation for 
your fine leadership.

4. A copy of this letter and a copy of reference (a) will be forwarded 
to the Chief of Naval Personnel for file in your Selection Board Jacket.
