Dear Captain Hanson:

We were delighted to learn from National Commander Francis 
J. Beaton of the Disabled American Veterans of the of the selection 
of the Depot to receive one of the DAV's "Employer Awards" for 1968.

This is a tremendous honor. We have long been aware of the Depot's 
outstanding record in the employment of handicapped veterans, 
especially older veterans, and have been extremely proud of it.  
We are pleased that it has received this national recognition.

May we join Commander Beaton and his outstanding organization in 
extending our thanks for the Depot's performance and our 
congratulations and commendation to you and to all those who had a 
hand in the service which resulted in this award?

We wish we could be in Philadelphia for the presentation of this 
award but previous commitments will prevent this. We hope you can 
attend. As you receive the award, know that your Congressman is 
mighty proud of you and the Depot.
